Dr. Nix first experienced Chiropractic care after a crippling injury while snowboarding. He believes that the only reason he can live a full and active life today is because of the Chiropractic care he received. Dr. Nix enjoys introducing others to the true and long-lasting benefits of Chiropractic care.
Dr. Nix’s primary focus is removing nerve interference (subluxation) and restructuring the spine to its most stable biomechanical position. This is done through a rehabilitation program of adjustments and spinal exercise. The length of correction and frequency of adjustment is determined by the severity of the patient’s subluxations and structural alignment.
Dr. Nix believes symptoms may be gone long before the spine is at its maximum corrected position, so adjustment schedules are kept intense to allow structural correction in the shortest amount of time. The patient is then closely monitored by postural patterns, X-rays, and spinal readings until the subluxations are corrected and the spine is in its proper alignment by reviewing these before and after with Dr. Nix, the patient actually sees the results.
Dr. Nix provides Family, Pediatric and Pregnancy Specific Care, Chiropractic Manual, Drop Table and Activator Adjusting, Radiographs, Exams: Physicals, Sports and Personal Injury. Dr. Nix is also certified in Graston Technique.
In his spare time, Dr. Nix enjoys spending time with his family and joining his wife Jennifer in supporting their three daughters, Monica, Madeleine, Miah and his granddaughter Ruby in their many activities. He thoroughly loves the outdoors particularly fly fishing, mountain biking, camping, and snowboarding.
