Meet the Doctor

  • Dr. Brian Thomas, DC

Dr. Thomas grew up in Fresno California. He served a mission for the LDS church for two years in what was then the Cebu Philippines Mission from1979-1981.

Dr. Thomas graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in1986 and has owned and operated Willow Creek Chiropractic in Sandy Utah for over 34 years.

In 2008 Elder Quintin Cook (from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) invited Dr. Thomas to be the Chairman of a newly formed Chiropractic Committee. He had the responsibility to create the church’s first-ever chiropractic committee and work side by side with the appointed medical committees and 125 medical doctors, on the Missionary Medical board for the LDS church. He saw divine intervention as he worked to make chiropractic services available for all of the missionaries, Mission Presidents, and General Authorities throughout the world. Dr. Thomas had the responsibility to find the most qualified chiropractors in each area that missionaries were serving in throughout the world which included 126 countries. Chiropractic services had not been permitted by the missionary medical committee for 30 years prior to Dr. Thomas’ appointment. Currently, all 80,000 plus missionaries now have access to chiropractic care.

Today he focuses on running his practice and educating his community.

He has been married to Barbara Thomas of Salt Lake City, for the past 34years. They have 4 adopted children and 6 grandchildren.
